High reliability module PWX 500

CHARACTERISTICS

The PWX 500 module uses PHOTOWATT multi-crystalline cell technology having a thickness of 0.2 mm. The encapsulation of cells between two sheets of tempered glass with high transmission guarantees the module's excellent reliability and durability.This type of heavy duty construction ensure the product's continued performance in humid or salt water environments.The technology using glass on the front and back dual-glass) ensures optimum operating characteristics in extreme climatic conditions (temperature, humidity) to which it may be subjected.

The dual-glass design thus benefits from the excellent mechanical and electrical insulation characteristics of the glass. Furthermore the white aspect of the glass at the rear considerably increases the module power output.

The distance between the edge of the frame and the network of cells was optimised in order to ensure both the necessary sealing and the maximum reduction of the module's size. The self-supporting frame made from anodized aluminium was designed to allow it to be easily mounted either by the front or by the rear. Thanks to PHOTOWATT's continuing efforts to produce a high-performance and reliable product, the modules are designed to maintain their qualities throughout their
long service life.
