CHARACTERISTICS

The PWX 100 module uses PHOTOWATT multi-crystalline cell technology having a thickness of 0,2 mm. The encapsulation of cells between two sheets of glass guarantees the module's excellent reliability and durability. The technology using glass on the front and back (dual-glass) ensures optimum operating characteristics in extreme climatic conditions (temperature, humidity). The dual-glass design thus benefits from the excellent mechanical and electrical insulation characteristics of the glass in front of and behind the module.
Furthermore, the white aspect of the glass at the rear considerably increases the module's power output. The distance between the edge of the frame and the network of cells was optimised in order to obtain the best compromise between the necessary sealing and the maximum reduction of the module's size. The self-supporting frame made from anodised aluminium was designed to allow it to be easily mounted either by the front or by the rear. Thanks to PHOTOWATT's continuing efforts to produce a high-performance and reliable product, the modules will maintain their qualities throughout their service life.
